We got a little more rain today. YAYAY! But, it didn't come until after way hot temps registered on my dash thermometer. It was still very welcome! 108 degrees...kind of makes you wonder what July and August are going to bring, doesn't it? I have no clue what the heat index was.
There was an eerie haze hanging over the Gulf of Mexico while we were down there and the water was sparkling a really pretty bluish green. The best views had nowhere for me to pull over to get a picture of the water. One of the buildings on the waterfront matched perfectly.
It has been a fun day, my husband's birthday. :)
