"Stuck" brings many thoughts to mind, but the one on my mind right now is that I'm stuck in a writer's block moment. I don't know what to write about.

My husband is somewhat of a comedian and says that I should post the following:

Goal Fence Trading Hitching Out Guide Sign

He said that I should say that I couldn't think of what to post, so I resurrected some classics.

OK, those "posts" are up, but I still don't know what to do with them and I still don't know what to write, so I'll write about that.

What do you do when you're stuck and can't think of what to say, on your blog or even in person? Do you just take that moment to be quiet, or do you just charge in hoping that something will come along to inspire you and unloose the words?

I sometimes overhear things said by passersby in parking lots or grocery stores, things that surprise me because they are being discussed in public. The recent Cosmo cover offered a LOT of conversation between my husband and I, but it wasn't about anything that I could post about on a public forum. Personal, off-line diary, yeah...here on Blogger, no way.

Sometimes I get ideas from the novels that I read. Mostly the idea that I get from those is that I wish I could be as great a writer as Debbie Macomber and Tracie Peterson. Maybe some day.

The television can be a good spot to get ideas, too. The shows that we've watched recently bring up interesting topics of conversation, but I haven't yet been able to word them into the form of a post.

So, tell me, how do you un-stick yourself?
