Today's Adventure

We had a job to do this afternoon that took us past a place that had experienced fire recently. We stopped to take pictures. In addition to the fire, the fields are devastated by the drought that seems never ending in this state.

It wasn't the best time of day to be taking these pictures with the sun glaring so bright, but here are a few anyway.

The cows that we passed along the way were way too skinny and with nothing really around for them to eat, I don't see that changing anytime soon. I didn't stop to photograph the cows because usually it makes them run and I didn't want to upset them when they are going through so much already with this heat and lack of rain.
