Yesterday I mentioned that I was considering another attempt at completing my Bachelors degree. Why not? It's only been twenty-seven years since I started it. Folks might be getting the idea that I never finish anything that I start.
So, today I took the plunge, or rather "we" did, as my husband has vowed his undying support of me in this endeavor to finish something that I've wanted to finish for eons now and because I want to grant my daddy's wish before it is too late. The clock isn't exactly slowing down for either one of us these days.
Four zillion pages of stuff later, the application is complete. The unofficial transcripts are on their merry little way to the catcher on the other side while the official ones are being requested.
First attempt, 1984: Elementary Education.
Second attempt, 2009-2010: Photography
Third -and final!- attempt, 2011: Bachelor of Science- Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Third time's a charm, right? That means I will finally have it and hopefully before I'm fifty years old! Three months from today, I will be 46 years old, so I need to kick it into high gear to reach that possibly impossible goal.
Daddy can be proud. David can be happy. And I can just finally have it completed!
CONGRATS! That is awesome! I bet the third time will be the charm! Good for you!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Miel! I sure hope so, otherwise none of us will be happy. I just hope the stress and excitement of it doesn't end me up in the Ha-Ha Hotel, if you know what I mean. :)
