Now, on to “A Few of My Favorite Things”…

My husband is a funny character. He’s a joker by nature. Sometimes his ill-timed humor causes problems, but overall, more and more lately, he is making me laugh. I love his hugs and miss him terribly when he’s not here. We’ve been through some pretty major tests recently, but we’re stubborn and those tests are lessons learned and will not pull us under.
My oldest daughter has such a love for animals. She would do most anything to insure that an animal is not suffering. She is hoping to go to veterinary school because she wants to make things better for animals. The competition is high and I think, to a degree, she is afraid that she will not make it. I do not know what she will do if she doesn’t. She’ll be devastated and my heart will break for her.
My second son is my techie one. I also call him my Selkie, the dark one. His eyes are brown, like mine. But, unlike mine, they are so dark that they are nearly black. You can barely discern the pupils therein. Whenever my computer is giving me a hard time, he’s the one that I call on to make it behave. He is 16 years old, but not for much longer.
My baby girl has the most contagious, bell-ringing laugh. When she laughs, her eyes sparkle and her face can hardly contain the smile, it is so big.
Wow! I love my little red zoom-zoom! The freedom that I have to leave the house and not worry that I will be stranded is just too awesome to describe.
